Welcome to our Alumni High Intermediate 1 blog! For those who do not yet know me, my name is Céline. I have been a teacher at Associação Alumni for over 19 years now. I have three children and two beautiful granddaughters, Sofia and Aurora. In my free time I take Latin at USP and Salsa classes at the club in Aldeia da Serra, where I live. I enjoy going to the movies, reading, watching TV, preparing some of my son’s delicious recipes (although I am a dreadful cook), but most of all I enjoy watching Corinthians play. Please, bear in mind that true champions aren’t always the ones that win, but those with the most guts.
I’m very excited about our course, and I’m sure we’re going to have a great bimester.
So are you ready to take the plunge and start blogging?
Hello Céline!
I think this new methology in High Intermediate will be very important to improve our English skills: listening, writing and pronunciation.
I gave up Alumni course in 2004 (HI-III) and I came back in 2007 (level 7).
These new resources (blog, on line homework) are interesting methods, but I know it will demand dedication and discipline.
We will reach our gols.
See you…
Sumiko
